We seldom see kayaks for sale on Kijiji and when we do, it's not much cheaper than the sales at Costco. Have one of your neighbors pick one up for you on their way home. Just a quick peek at Craigs list shows them starting around $60/offer and going up to whatever you are willing to pay (in Ft Myers). I think if you watched the ads and looked in garage sales you could do better. Lots of people buy them, use them a few times and trip over them in the garage until their wife says get rid if that silly thing. I think I would rent one for a few days and see if you are really having fun tho. Unfortunately you might spend $60 renting one for a week. I suppose you could be a kayak merchant like Harry is with his guns. Buy it, play with it a little and sell it at a handsome profit ;-) |
