These days they are online. Actually Constantine was a thought provoking reference. He was emperor at a time when Rome's finances were in the crapper. They were monetizing their debts using bronze money with no real fiscal basis. Their famous infrastructure was fraying around the edges. They were in the midst of a political divide that split the empire. He had is own Persian misadventure (AKA Iran) and the government was taken over by Christians. I thought Harry might get it ;-) |
