Happy Memorial Day.
A time of remembrance to those who sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedoms sake.

Enjoy the weekend...

Why thank you, Tim. I'm not in trouble with daughter for not taking her on the Rolling Thunder ride.
She thought maybe she could do it, so I asked her to stand on her left leg and swing her right leg
over the back of a chair. With the hip surgery, there's no way she can do that, although she did
try. She can't even put her weight on the left leg, let alone swing the right one up. She *can* put
all her weight on the right leg, but then she can't get the left foot more than a few inches off the
ground. So I promised her we'd do it next year.

This year they're expecting about a half million bikes here for Rolling Thunder. Some pictures from
my trip up there a couple years ago.

Say what?
What kind of dad are y'all?
There must be a small collapsing step stool out there that could be used and attached to the back of your sissy bar.

Your ignorance is showing again, Don White. 'Nuff said.

.....

John I hope she has a good recovery. Hip surgery can be easy or complicated. My brothers was complicated. He had to be practically imobi Ike for a bout a month because if he bent his leg in a wrong manner it could dislocate.

No, she doesn't need to try at the moment. Patience pays off in this situation. Here's to her recovery!

She's been bed-ridden for the past three or four weeks, only able to get up, with crutches, last
week. There's no way she could get on a motorcycle, stool or no stool (as Don White suggested). And,
I wouldn't want her to take the risk. If the bike went down, her hip would probably come loose. When
I asked if she was ready to go, I figured she'd ask me, on Facebook, if I was out of my mind for
suggesting it.

Wait. Minute, Johnny.
At first you claimed she was ready to go but had some mobility issues.
Now you have her crawling out of her sick bed on crutches.
If you're going to play fast and loose with the facts, how can we be expected to advise the best course of action?

You need to learn to read. Perhaps you're just too ****ing stupid to comprehend.

You've earned a place with slammer and noname.

No need to get ****ty, JohnnyMop. I was just trying to help.
Oh wait a minute...we're only six hours away from the lord's Day (ADT).
You tend to get your knickers all tied up in a knot every Sunday.

You were not trying to be helpful. But you were showcasing your stupidity
