Surprising that the old in line four MerCruiser 3.0 is still available in 2016 boats. Guess there is a warehouse full of them somewhere. I was a bit concerned about the old technology but it runs fine except for being a bit rough idling when cold.
Almost wish it had a manual choke. We sure are spoiled by EFI.

Don I think your 3.0 is EFI. Or throttle body. Not sure. I think carbs are all a thing of the past now.

Is yours raw water cooled or have a separate cooling system?
