(or 2 PM for that matter) The reason I like my own pool is convenience and also that "not swimming in stranger's pee" thing. Maintenance is not really that big a deal. It is only money. But don't you see Greg? Sharing a "community" pool and having no maintenance responsibilities is a very progressive, liberal thing. Besides missing the pee, you miss all the kids screaming and jumping in. Getting in a car and driving to the pool is about the same to me as hooking up a trailer every time I want to go boating. I just wouldn't do it. I wouldn't waste the time and effort required to maintain a personal outdoor pool, especially one up here or further north, considering the shortness of the season compared to yours. You don't waste a lot of time or effort on anything except being an asshole. And you are quite good at what you do. ;-) Paid your taxes yet? Own any boats? Own a home? Own a decent car? Have any toys worth mentioning? |

I agree with you. The last two houses we've had up here had/have pools. Great when kids are young and they get used. I'll never have a pool again ... of course I am also not planning on having kids again either! |
