Why do you call Trump a racist? Has he made anti-Black comments? Has he made
anti-legal immigrant Mexican comments? No. He's spoken out against drug-smuggling,
murdering, raping, and otherwise illegal Mexicans.

They should all be sent home, and the walls made impregnable - even if it takes
manpower.

hatreds.

16% is not really a lead, it just says 16% agree with him. Some of
them are undoubtedly democrats, probably loyal union members who hate
Mexicans too.

He is as electable as Bernie Sanders and I am sure Sanders is getting
much higher numbers

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. You're good at it. The fact remains that in the
poll in question, Trump the Racist is leading, which makes sense,
considering the sort of trash that comprises the GOP base these days.

Bernie Sanders is not a pig. Trump is a pig.

Trump is a well known pig, with plenty of TVQ
When you put as many names in a poll as they have now, name
recognition may mean as much as any position they take and you have to
admit, Trump has plenty of that.
I bet Caitlin Jenner would beat Martin O'Malley in a poll right now
among democrats.

Certainly name recognition is a factor, but there are a number of GOPers
seeking the nomination who have that, and several have been after the
nomination for some time. I think Trump really, truly appeals to a large
percentage of the Republican base who are racists, hater of ethnic
minorities, and admirers of loudmouth politicians who appeal to their
basest instincts. And of course, Trump is really rich, and that also
appeals to Republicans.

I wish Trump well in his quest. I hope he is the GOP nominee...he stands
for the party's worst beliefs and instincts.

Those comments and the earlier ones from Trump about Mexicans are
considered racist and, of course, they're bull****. There is no
government of Mexico policy of exporting "criminals, rapists, and drug
dealers."

There are dozens and dozens of significant organizations who believe
Trump's remarks were racist:

1. Spanish-language TV network Univision dropped its coverage of Miss
USA and Miss Universe, two beauty pageants co-owned by Trump.

2. NBC followed suit by also dropping the pageant programming.

3. NASCAR decided to move its season-ending awards ceremony away from
the Trump National Doral Miami, where the event was originally scheduled
to be held.

4. ESPN shifted its Celebrity Golf Classic away from Trump's National
Golf Club.

5. Serta mattresses dropped its partnership with Trump.

6. Macy's dumped Donald Trump brand merchandise from its stores.

7. The PGA of America announced that it would be relocating its Grand
Slam of Golf from Trump's golf course in Los Angeles.

8. Latinos, who, Trump claimed, would vote for him. Not likely.

Trump, however, does have the support of the rec.boats racists.

Racist Donald Trump Jumps Out To Wide Lead As Republican 2016 Frontrunner

The Donald Trump circus is in town, and it unfortunately looks like it's
here to stay. The abrasive and obnoxious business tycoon have apparently
struck a chord with Republican voters, as new polls indicate he has
rocketed far ahead of the umpteen other cookie-cutter Republican candidates.

The Economist has him leading (with 15%) over the next-closest
candidate, Jeb Bush (11%). Another survey by Public Policy Polling
published Wednesday also placed Trump ahead of the GOP pack- with Trump
leading Bush 16% to 12%. One in four Republican voters indicate that
Trump is their first or second choices.

So it appears that despite the tidal wave of backlash that social media
and business have unleashed on Trump over his extraordinarily ignorant
and offensive comments about Mexican-American immigrants, Trump's
presidential campaign, once derided as a farce by establishment
politicians and media outlets, has somehow become not only a legitimate
player but has taken the vanguard of the GOP's efforts to convince
America to endorse their plutocratic and xenophobic agenda.

- - -

http://tinyurl.com/q5nnkwx

Even better, Trump has teased his supporters with this gem: if he
doesn't get the GOP nomination, he might run as an Independent!

Betcha this is giving Herring, FlaJim the Ass, and several other of the
right-wing racists in rec.boats the first woody they've had in a decade,
and a look of horror on the faces of their wives.

He sure knows his audience and what they want in a leader.

Lemming response.
