Boating All Out

Why? *AFAIC, he's keeping this group alive with politics.
There's no boat talk here anyway, save the occasional post from Wayne or
you. *
You can't chase Harry away because you don't agree with his politics.
He goes, the NG dies. *Maybe a month or two afterwards.
The group will need that time to rag on him, just as they do when he's
away. *I can see it now. *"Nice here now that Harry's gone."
"Yep. *Very nice. Nice and quiet." *"Peaceful."
"Hello. *Anybody there?"

I agree with this post.....

Harry, sometimes you're mind-boggling

Why, thank you, Tim. It's always pleasant to guess the context of your
posts here.

Who are you kidding? You have full access to the thread trees which you
archive on your massive servers. It's fun to watch you play dumb though.

Maybe he is not playing dumb.

Wow...FlaJim is a real no-tech genius. Why would anyone bother to archive
the **** you righties have posted in here the last couple of years? It's
pretty much totally devoid of content.

And you content was valuable?

There is no content in this newsgroup worth archiving.

And that would no doubt be your most significant contribution.

You got that right.

Right.

You may not like my boating posts for one reason or another but they
are most definitely on topic. And the boats are quite real, and the
cruising/fishing/anchoring/boat projects are quite real.

We just got back from a nice 4 week cruise to the Abaco Islands in the
Bahamas, some fishing, no catching. C'est la vie.

If cruising estuaries and back country in shallow draft boats is more
to your liking, we have a significant contributor in that area. He
might post more if you didn't try to belittle him and his education.

If you're not interested in boating at all, and it frequently seems
that way, you're probably in the wrong place and should shift your
pollution to some other venue.
