It's very good news but I'm reasonably sure there are more. We've had
some incidents around here recently and I've taken some increased
precautionary measures.

There's a problem with boat insurance that many people are unaware of.
Many policies specifically exclude "mysterious disappearance" from
coverage. That means that you have to be able to demonstrate in some
way that the boat was taken by thieves - video evidence, broken
locks/cables, etc.

"Mysterious Disappearance?" Man, That's a blanket way to get out of
paying...
