Tim, as far as I can tell from "the news," the only GOP contender with serious possibilities to win the nomination who is not crazy or hate-filled is Jeb Bush, and I just don't see the far-righties who control the party at the state level giving him the nod. That leaves the crazies and the haters. -- Proud to be a Liberal. You gauge by your own yardstick, Harry. Doesn't everyone?
