....a liberal!

Even though it is still cold and miserable here, it is great to wake up
as a liberal, with no fear or misplaced anger about the government or
hatred of people of color or different ethnicity or of women striving
for success, with no conspiracy theories fouling my synapses, and no
single source for what passes as news.

I don't have to lie for god or use the bible as a weapon, I have access
to facts with credible links, and not the fiction from Fox News or all
the other right-wing bull**** sites.

No, we liberals don't have all the answers, but we have some, and we do
understand what most of the questions are.

Oh, and when we watch the Academy Awards, we don't get upset when
presenters and recipients talk about the need to work to remove the
roadblocks faced by non-whites, non-males, gays, the mentally ill, and
others, all of whom are trying to succeed in life.
