" What a bull**** statement! A couple hundred a month? How much would a new

a 2 year old Corolla, if you absolutely need a newer car. How much did it
cost you a year for cars the last couple years? How much did it cost to
own a Rav4 for a year or two? Then trade for a bigger car? How much is
registration on a new car? Here is $70 plus 2% of the nominal value. What
is registration in Canada? Where the kid bought the new car, without even
starting the job? "
Wipe the drool from your chin and we'll discuss this rationally.
When I first started work at the crown corporation, I went out and bought a brand spanking new 1972 Volkswagon Super Beetle.
Payments were $69.00 per month on a yearly salary of $ 3300.00
I see the auto advertisements from the New England area.
Your prices are lower, your incomes are usually higher, your income taxes lower than here.
Most people here learn to live modestly.....less on liquor and drugs than y'all so that leaves a but more for the important things.
If you are going to buy a car and run it 5 or 6 years, you are a lot
better off buying a 2 year old car. A car is only going to be "new"
for a few months, then what difference does it make? A 6 year old car
and an 8 year old car are worth about the same amount of money.
My Prelude is 17 years old and it still does everything I want a car
to do. It starts every time, the A/C still blows cold and it stops
when I step on the brake.
Being somewhat rare, it even has a bit more pizazz than the dime a
dozen econoboxes they sell at the dealers.
5 or 6 years, :-)
I've had the T-100 14 years it is 17 years old and only has 90k miles
on it. The Avalon is 14 years old we have had it 4 years, it has 87k
miles. Both look great, Florida garaged vehicles.
Brakes and cold air, the order of importance varies depending on the day.
Nothing like back in Michigan, were rust was a problem.
