Nantucket Sound makes a lot of sense because there is a lot of wind there and so much fog that no one will see them on most days. Nantucket Sound is the home of the infamous Figawi sailboat race - humorously named for the mythical tribe of Figawi indians - who, legend has it, went around in the fog saying: "Where the figawi?". (say it slowly with a Boston accent) Would make for interesting boating in the fog. |
