The way it works here is that you have to make friends with the
manager of the ammo department. If he's so inclined, he can tell you
when the next shipment is going to be brought out and what is in it.
At our local store that is typically 7:00 AM on Thursdays. Guys
start lining up about 5:30 or so and most of the ammo is sold right
off the cart before it gets to the shelf.

If you buy ammo by the case every shipment is 5,000 rounds in 22lr.
That's about 6 months for me.

I saw it for about .12/round. Are you getting a much better deal than that? If so, where?
