I'm glad Luddite's wolf ate the damn groundhog. This ****'s gettin'
old.

It's snowing here now.

Here too, again today. Not much, but it doesn't take much to close a
golf course!

Nuisance snow today (1" maybe) and Saturday (2" maybe) and a growing
chance of a "significant snow event" on Monday.

I've become an expert at getting the plow on and off the truck this
year.

We've had a skift of snow this morning, maybe an inch.

February has always been my least favorite month, and this particular
February will go down in my record book as my least favorite February to
date.

Hey, did you ever decide on putting more memory in your iMac?

I really haven't thought much more about it because so far I haven't had
any indication it needs more for what I do with it. If I discover that
it's bogging down running some application or program and it needs more
RAM, I'd probably look into it. But for now, it seems to run everything
I do just fine.

I *did* install the updates for Mavericks last night on both the iMacs.
I haven't used mine since, so I don't know if I'll notice anything
different or new or if it fixed any of the midi input issues Mavericks
has. I doubt it since it was primarily a security issue.

I keep a bunch of apps open, so when I switch to them, the "switch" is
seemingly instantaneous. It's noticeably faster since I stuffed in the
extra RAM. It also would help if you set up a RAM drive and moved music
or video projects there temporarily, because the processing is much
faster in RAM than it would be via hard drive access.
