It apparently plants the idea in their skulls that they can shoot their way out of simple disagreements or even a fist fight they might have started. Oh, and taking CCW classes is a guarantee only that someone yawned their way through a CCW class. I've taken three of them. There's nothing in those classes that keeps a low intelligence hothead from skinning his firearm if he gets "upset."
