I also doubt Mr Ed would be welcome. He is my "lap partner" when we swim. Problem solved: http://www.workingservicedog.com/Pre...ceDogVest.aspx We have friends whose mother claimed her dog (BIG dog) was a service dog so it could go on an airplane with her and not in baggage. Not good. It's getting to be a problem in restaurants and grocery stores also. From what I understand, the dog's status cannot be questioned. Yup, I know a little pig in our MX community that got a vest for his purse dog just so he could bring it everywhere... It's bull****. He thought when he told me I would be impressed, turns out I was disgusted... Later he got all democrat on me and we aren't friends anymore... |

Problem solved: http://www.workingservicedog.com/Pre...ceDogVest.aspx Ed looks the part, there are lots of yellow lab service dogs but I doubt he could act the part long enough to convince anyone. ;-) There was a special on this on the local news just the other night. Working Dogs, whether fake or not, *can* be kicked out of a restaurant, etc. for 'bad behavior'. It showed a scene of a 'working dog' going ape**** when another 'working dog' entered the establishment. The second was a real, trained working dog, which showed no reaction at all to the aggressiveness of the other dog. When I use the crosswalk to get over the four-lane road here (Franconia), cars stop a lot more readily if I'm walking the pointer. But maybe the drivers just think she's a good looking dog. http://tinyurl.com/pl4qd7c And, she wishes everyone here a Merry Christmas! Wow, what a nice doggie... I had a English Setter years ago that had similar markings.. without the brown highlights... |

Asking, "Would you like me to pick up the poop for you?" seems to make the point quite well, and I don't waste a bag. BTW, here's where I get my bags...for about 3,25 cents a bag including shipping. The bags are a perfect size for two or three, if necessary, 'poops'. http://tinyurl.com/muyh9r2 They come in sets of 100, attached to a piece of cardboard which can be hung on a hook or doorknob for easy tear off. Of course, you've got to buy 2000 at a time, but for me that's only about two year's worth as I end up giving the kids some as stocking stuffers. |

When I was working in Switzerland in about 1987 on a job for a few weeks, we went to dinner one night. Leaving, a German Shepard tried to attack me as we came through the front part of the restaurant. Could not figure out why, until we went outside. Colin said he had stepped on the sleeping dog. And I was the first person it saw. Dogs are normally OK as handled in European Restaurants. Here, some purse dog would be on the table being fed from a plate. |

Used to take their Rat Dog across the street to our next door neighbors parking strip for it's potty break. And leave the ****. Laura next door finally had enough and screamed at them as she flung the **** at their yard. Last time A'hole took the dog across the street to do it's crapping. |
