My roommate before marriage worked on a mine thrower for FMC. He designed the triggering mechanism. Was a spinning tire and the mines were fed on to the tire and tossed out as the trailer was pulled along. Anti-tank mines on top of the ground become easy targets for the machine guns on tanks. |
