That Florida woman's canceled Blue Cross policy? It's junk insurance. She can get a real plan for only $165 a month The silver plan starts at $300 and goes as high as $600. So, using tools available through eHealthinsurance.com (I'll walk you through this useful resource tomorrow), I determined that she qualifies for a premium subsidy of $320 a month. She can use that to purchase a Humana Direct Silver 4600/6300 plan for $165 a month. It is just wonderful to see another welfare plan fired up. This particular women get $320 a month for her health insurance. I noticed all the democrats bragging about the low cost of these plans for their constituents, not mentioning that someone else is paying part of their premium. BTW, Does anyone have a link to show where this subsidy money comes from? What are the chances we will have 50 million people collecting on this new welfare program? Mikek Grandfathered in at $633 mo. O'care is $1311 for the bronze plan, with the welfare payment included. |
