"Fixing" this plan will require more revenue or more borrowing and any

party that makes that kind of tax increases is not going to be around

next time.

You will be left with young people paying a lot for insurance they

don't want or paying much higher taxes for the rest of their life.

Neither will be popular. The question is when that reaches the point

that they actually start voting their own best interests and not what

some actor tells them to do..

Looking at my property tax bill, I notice that between one quarter and
one third goes to support public transit and enriched programs in our schools.
I use neither.

We are nowhere near socialism.

Just think, if you had that Islamic government you desire, your property taxes would be building
mosques and Islamic schools.

Who "desires" an Islamic government?

I was addressing Don White.

So, I'm addressing you, who said that they desired an Islamic
government? And FYI, you DO know that there is a difference between
"Islam" and "Muslim", don't you? You use them interchangeability and
that's not correct.

I don't see that happening for at least one or two more liberal regimes. Even then there will be
such dependence on the government by so many that it will be very tough for a Republican to be
elected, unless his plank is to give away the farm.

John H. -- Hope you're having a great day!

It's been the plan all along. Nobody remember Vincente Fox (sp?) from
Mexico telling his people to come up here, and raise lot's of little
voters....?

We're headed for a major societal restructuring in this country, one in
which the lower income and disenfranchised middle income groups move us
towards European socialism because, simply, this no longer is a land of
opportunity for most of those who want to climb up the ladder. Either we
have that restructuring peaceably or rich guys will find their heads on
pikes.

If the middle class was willing to pay Don's taxes, the problems would
be solved ... but they aren't
The politician who would propose German or Scandinavian tax rates
would be run out of town on a rail.

It is just wonderful to see another welfare plan fired up.
This particular women get $320 a month for her health insurance.
I noticed all the democrats bragging about the low cost of these

paying part of their premium.

BTW, Does anyone have a link to show where this subsidy money comes from?
What are the chances we will have 50 million people collecting on
this new welfare program?
Mikek

Grandfathered in at $633 mo. O'care is $1311 for the bronze plan, with
the welfare payment included.

What's your solution for people who can't afford medical insurance or
medical care? Don't tell me the ER, because that doesn't work if you
need more than stabilization a relatively minor condition. So, what's
your solution, let 'em die? Oh, and who do you think pays for the care

Why are you asking MikeK for the solution? It's O'bama's job to get us
out of the mess he's made.
