statement true if I have the GPS feature turned "off"?

Nope. The only thing they can do with GPS off is TRY to triangulate.

with lots of towers around.

The FCC says 50-300 meters resolution is required on a phase II
system.


My phone shows my location right down to what side of the house I am on,
and what direction I am facing... It even "watches" my eyes to see when
I am looking at it, so it can turn itself off when I turn away and am no
longer watching....
