I've seen it first hand. I actually was present when a Southern Baptist pastor told a group of people that Jesus changed water into grape juice, not into wine. I couldn't help it, I burst out laughing. -------------------------------------- As a teenager I visited a Chinese church in Boston. I don't recall the denomination, but in the hierarchy of Christian churches it was in the "high" category, meaning the structure of the services were very similar to a Roman Catholic church service. They used grape juice for Holy Communion. Which, of course, has nothing to do with the claim that Jesus changed water into grape juice. |
