The question was, "Is there some quality, independent evidence that
proves that violent movies, TV shows, and video games *cause* acts of
violence in the real world?"

Do you happen to know the meaning of the word, *cause* ?

---------------------------------------------------

One of the problems I have with modern liberals is that everything has
to be proven true with studies (usually government funded) surveys or
polls.

What ever happened to common sense?

====

Not everything has to be proven in a study, just those issues they are
not passionate about. Take gun control legislation for example.
Where are the studies there?

I do read and post on two other gun discussion boards. Apparently there

Apparently, you have a lot of experience getting tossed from discussion
groups. The Android forum is just one other example.

I 'really' believe he was tossed because of his lack of opposition to
background checks and being
pro safety training. What a crock.

And once again you prove you cannot comprehend what you read.

Apparently he who laughs last does laugh best. Some of the boys on that
Maryland gun discussion board must be having strokes over what is about
to happen in this state.

You were tossed for being a political troll... period.

If this group were moderated, you'd be tossed for being a vulgar, low
class racist.

Seems like every time there's a mass shooting by someone over 35, turns

Where did you hear or read that? Simply not true.

Interesting discussion on "Morning Joe" this morning about violence on
TV, in movies and in video games. All the media focus is on the NRA
lobbying for gun manufacturers yet many of the vocal supporters (usually
Hollywood liberals) of more gun controls are the same ones acting in,
producing, marketing and profiting by some of the most horrifically
violent shows, movies and video games ever made, many targeted at young
viewers.

Is there some quality, independent evidence that proves that violent
movies, TV shows, and video games *cause* acts of violence in the real
world. I know that from time to time such media is pointed out as the
cause, but where is the proof? The Connecticut shooter, I understand,
played violent media games, but he seemed to be suffering from mental
illnesses. Media doesn't cause mental illness.

You are a moron... Every 10 year old that has access to a tv knows how
to use a weapon, clear a room, knows swat tactics, knows plenty to pull
off a successful mass murder because they have been taught each and
every bit of it by hollywood and atari...

I suppose, if you use your TV for a babysitter.

The "gun boys" don't like those who don't entirely accept their
catechism. They really, really disliked background checks.

It's not an insult, you don't have comprehension skills, and also you've
said several times that you don't read URL's that are proof of things
because you don't want to know the truth.

It's a fact. I posted a simple question and your inability to comprehend

not fellatio.

Wow, word of the day... How impressive. There is nothing I care to
answer for your drunken ass... Now go back and drink while your kids
burn in their beds...

Amazing, now you insane lie is that everyone that doesn't agree with
your insanity is drunk.....

Your drunken rants are much more fun.. Say, beat your wife's head in
lately??? Mystery disease,,, pfffftttt...

Wow! You sure are insane today!! Why do you lie like that? Do you think
it impresses people? Where did you ever get the idea that Harry beat his
wife or that she has some disease? I've never heard of such here.
