Flag burning is completely legal since 1990 or something like that. It is protected free speech. |

But, it's still a shame in my opinion that it's "legal" now. Another example of the moral decay of this country. There are some things that shouldn't need laws to make them unacceptable behavior. We now live in a society where college presidents encourage and actually *teach* courses in challenging all authority and/or established traditional values. It's no wonder we are evolving into a society of people that demand rather than earn. |

There are many reasons for so-called "moral decay" in this country, and i don't think teaching how to challenge authority or *certain* established traditional values are the cause. I have no objection to flag-burning in a political context at a political event. Doing so at a baseball game is just a way to **** off everyone there |

My morals state that freedom of speech is more important that some subset of the population's morals. SCOTUS seemed to agree, and they are a pretty "moral" crowd. Challenging authority is a good thing. Isn't that what the right wing is always preaching... keeping guns at the ready for the government takeover that will be happening next Thursday... ****. Don't tell anyone. |

Of course, lots of people do that to retrieve balls or streak or whatever. |
