I hope there's something to limit ex-military from stockpiling firearms. Seems like every time there's a mass shooting by someone over 35, turns out he's a vet. A lot of them sure are. Herring motorbikes over to Wal-Mart every morning to buy more ammo. Can our boy be planning something rash? |

After all you've killed all the stumps and wild dogs in Virginia. |

The discussion board has a political subsection. The boys didn't like my lack of support for some of the crazier ideas. It's still going strong, with a number of the fellas discussing secession. That should be a funny undertaking. |

Interesting discussion on "Morning Joe" this morning about violence on TV, in movies and in video games. All the media focus is on the NRA lobbying for gun manufacturers yet many of the vocal supporters (usually Hollywood liberals) of more gun controls are the same ones acting in, producing, marketing and profiting by some of the most horrifically violent shows, movies and video games ever made, many targeted at young viewers. |

Is there some quality, independent evidence that proves that violent movies, TV shows, and video games *cause* acts of violence in the real world. I know that from time to time such media is pointed out as the cause, but where is the proof? The Connecticut shooter, I understand, played violent media games, but he seemed to be suffering from mental illnesses. Media doesn't cause mental illness. |

I don't suppose you have any quality independent evidence that supports your emphatic claim, or do you? |
