I hope there's something to limit ex-military from stockpiling
firearms.
Seems like every time there's a mass shooting by someone over 35,
turns out he's a vet.

Where did you hear or read that? Simply not true.

Interesting discussion on "Morning Joe" this morning about violence
on TV, in movies and in video games. All the media focus is on the
NRA lobbying for gun manufacturers yet many of the vocal supporters
(usually Hollywood liberals) of more gun controls are the same ones
acting in, producing, marketing and profiting by some of the most
horrifically violent shows, movies and video games ever made, many
targeted at young viewers.

There's no causation between the two. Most obvious example is Japanese
society. They have plenty of and even more vid games that are violent
and abberant, but they have a much lower violent crime rate. It sounds
good, but it just isn't real. Canada also. There are lots of examples,
as Hollywood **** is everywhere.

That's why I asked about it in an earlier response to Eisboch. I've
never seen a really good study on a direct connection.
