Is there some quality, independent evidence that proves that violent movies, TV shows, and video games *cause* acts of violence in the real world. I know that from time to time such media is pointed out as the cause, but where is the proof? The Connecticut shooter, I understand, played violent media games, but he seemed to be suffering from mental illnesses. Media doesn't cause mental illness. I don't suppose you have any quality independent evidence that supports your emphatic claim, or do you? |
