ooops make that 2013.

Flag burning is completely legal since 1990 or something like that. It
is protected free speech.

--------------------------------------------

I am sure you noticed, the incident in the link happened in 1976.

But, it's still a shame in my opinion that it's "legal" now. Another
example of the moral decay of this country.
There are some things that shouldn't need laws to make them
unacceptable behavior. We now live in a society where college
presidents encourage and actually *teach* courses in challenging all
authority and/or established traditional values. It's no wonder we
are evolving into a society of people that demand rather than earn.

I guess it depends on your morals. My morals state that freedom of
speech is more important that some subset of the population's morals.
SCOTUS seemed to agree, and they are a pretty "moral" crowd.

Without someone to defend your freedom of speech, it is just words on a piece of paper.

Challenging authority is a good thing. Isn't that what the right wing
is always preaching... keeping guns at the ready for the government
takeover that will be happening next Thursday... ****. Don't tell
anyone.

What's that got to do with the legality of burning a flag? Nothing,
but what you said sure sounds good rattling around in your tiny brain.

People have died in order to provide you with the ability to burn the flag as a form of your
political protest.

Weenies like urine and Harrie forget there's a price for freedom. They
don't serve their country or pay their bills or taxes so they don't
really care.

It's a trespassing charge, know as the "Calvin Klein Law"

Note quote by the MD State Attorney's office: ""We cannot
overemphasize that it is a crime to trespass on the field at Oriole
Park at Camden Yards, and we will prosecute individuals who go on the
field in violation of the law in the future."

That is the charge when you go out on the field. Your ticket only
allows you into the stands and other publicly accessible areas. You
are not allowed out on the field. Entering any prohibited areas is
trespassing.

When I buy an airplane ticket, it doesn't mean I can wander around on
the runway.
