Just don't read the Urine stuff, unless you're really in to stupidity. I am actually learning a lot myself. It takes a lot of homework when you need to be able to cite every statement you make. I think this may be the equivalent of getting a poli sci degree at most schools and it is free. ;-) I do thank Al for getting all of the government resources we now have available online. Things that used to require going to a library and thumbing through hundreds of Dewey cards is not a few clicks away. I don't know why I feel obligated to do all of this but it may just be that intellectual curiosity thing Harry talks about. Yeah, I don't waste time citing as I am usually pretty sure of what I say as you have noticed in the last few months. Most of the time you end up citing for me as I don't read kevin's posts, only your side too...:) Yeah, in other words, you lie and can't back it up. |

One nice thing about Starboard is that it's easy to work if you have basic woodworking tools like a circular saw and router table. If you radius the corners and edges, and then polish it out, it ends up looking very professionally done. It is also easy to drill and tap. |

What if the bank goes belly up? Oh yeah, it won't. The FDIC will print me some more. Last I check inflation is very under control. Or, is this more of your "let's wait and see" ****? Inflation is "under control" because the fed is creating money to buy unsold US bonds. Thus, inflation is under control, and there's nothing to suggest, especially in a sluggish economy that it will worsen. The Fed is, was, and will be all over it. Back you to grapenuts. |

Try again. \ OK, have it your way, It wasn't Reagan that ran up the debt, it was Tip O'Neil and it was Newt Gingrich who was responsible for the surplus in the 90s. You win. How about just the honest part? Lots of people had a hand in both the surplus and the run up debt. Reagan's policies didn't help. O'Neil didn't help, and Newt was always and will always be an asshole. Make up your mind. Is it the president or is it the congress Why? It's both, as you know. Back to you grapenuts. |

How is that not an immediate problem? $85B? Why does that number sound familiar? I know, I know. It's the big oil subsidy. Eliminate that, and we're good to go. What's more important, big oil getting money it doesn't need or people getting their Social Security? Hmmmm.... Cite that. I lied. $52B in direct subsidized costs, plus $1.6T in related costs of the fossil fuel industry. http://priceofoil.org/fossil-fuel-subsidies/ ... or $10B "In the United States, credible estimates of annual fossil fuel subsidies range from $10 billion to $52 billion annually," Nice cherry picking tho. So the range, without underlying infrastructre and related cost, per year is, let's say in the middle... $32B. That of course, won't help the Social Security situation if it were funneled to it. Is that what you're claiming? Nice try. |

Salmonbait It was explained to me that the reason a Ruger KP90 does not have a safety is it is for cops transitioning from a revolver. Where the safety would be, it has a decocker. I usually train from the decocked position to be used to the double action trigger pull. I avoid the double action trigger pull by buying pistols with single action triggers. You can also avoid the double action trigger pull by cocking the double action trigger. Somebody ought to sit down with you and explain to you how different types of guns work. |
