Really Harry, must you consistently interject like that?

The rifle team would be an extra curricular sport.

South Carolina public schools are well below average in the matters that
matter. The state shouldn't be wasting its meager educational abilities
resources on right-wing gun shootin' silliness when achievement in
reading, writing and arithmetic is so wanting.

"right wing?" Is all sports "right wing" as well?

You're interjecting again, Harry

Calling for gun-shooting classes in the public schools as the proponent
of the proposed South Carolina law is doing is a "right wing" wet dream,
Tim. I doubt you'd hear many "left wing" pols calling for gun shooting
classes in the public schools.

Sports itself is not a right-wing or left-wing thing, I would surmise.
But spending money on sports activities in K-12 public schools where
academic teaching is so lacking seems silly.

You have no right to criticize how any govt. spends the taxpayer's money.
