Gotta' tell you, I encountered on one day coming out of a friends house on the lake outside of town, and the one thing I noticed was the thing was probably a foot taller than I even imagined... Not too proud to admit, I almost **** my pants getting into my topless jeep and getting the hell out of there. Seeing them is a treat, but hearing them howl is eerie. Getting back to cougars, I've heard from responsible people that they've been seen in Litchfield County. We've got them in Alexandria, VA, also. A little park a few blocks away is home to one (or more). Hopefully they'll develop an appetite for Canada geese, squirrels, and stray cats. |
