In a previous post someone mensioned "stainless steel wear sleeves" to install
on the inner part of the spindle. I'm looking at replacing 2 axles due to corrosion where the inner wheel bearing seals contacts the spindle. I've pollished the mating area as best I can, but (salt) water still gets in frequently requiring new bearings etc.etc. The idea of a S/S sleeve sounds good, but I've not seen a source or application. Any help guys? Thanks Mike |
