I have to buy a gift for a friend whose birthday is coming up soon. The
friend is *not* into computers, iPads, iPhones, et cetera, but is interested in something relatively easy to use to read books, "surf," play music, especially something to take on trips for a little entertainment on the airplane. The Kindle Fire seems ideal for this. The only shortcoming I see is that it is limited to WiFi reception, although with hotspots popping up everywhere, this seems less of an issue than it might have been a year or two ago. I've never actually seen a Kindle Fire. Anyone have one? Opinions of those who actually have used one... |
