The deputy sheriff boasted that the quarry was reported visible from the space shuttle. It probably wasn't a pretty site to behold. Were it not for the mining industry we would still be living in mud huts or log cabins and driving teams of horses. What strikes me funny is the *progressives and green weenies* who oppose progress, but wouldn't give up any of the creature comforts mining has allowed them. -- O M G |
