He probably is, but I don't know anybody else that is sane or

a monetary interest saying that global warming is CAUSED by man.

OTOH, I think there are a lot of reasons to believe that man
CONTRIBUTES to global warming.

But how much, and to what end... The world has been hotter and
colder
than now, it has changed faster than it is changing now, and it
will
probably stay in the long run, pretty similar to what it is
now...

The world has a great climate control system in the whole
spinning
thing. Too much heat will make for more hurricaines which take a
tremendous amount of heat energy and spin it out to the poles
where it
can dissipate. If the world gets warmer, more hurricnes, if the
world
gets colder, less hurricanes, pretty simple really. I think the
world
has things under control and it is doing what it does, just fine.
More
hurricanes means something maybe us, maybe the sun, maybe both
are
doing
what they do to the earth. The earth will respond and balance
things out
like it's been doing for 4 billion years...

The concern is a potential for a tipping point. The
ramifications of
that are truly scary.

Besides, a lot of the green applications save money and
resources. I
actually like to save money, so I don't see the problem.

I think your "comments" on global warming and many other issues either
are or border on idiotic. As to your home heating problem, I have no
comment beyond saying I'd call in someone who knows about these systems
intimately rather than depend upon conflicting advice from a newsgroup.
When I was getting specs and bids for the new genny system here, the
best advice on placing the generator came from the field technician (a
licensed plumber) from the company from which we buy our LP gas, and the
consultation didn't cost me a dime. His advice resulted in a cost
savings of nearly $2000.



I am just trying to tweak my system.. Once I understand the principal, I
will be able to the same way I diagnosed cars.. You will never
understand Harry, you obviously should stick to paying others to do your
work for you...

There aren't a lot of magic tweeks. The one tweek I didn't mention
before is change the filter and adjust the flame. You might want to hire
a HVAC guy to do that.
