Well, we did some sailing off SF this summer. I might get invited in
France. I'm working on that. I've also took some lessons.. just the
basic stuff. We've looked at a lot of boats. For monohull, the general
consensus is a Valiant. For a catamaran, a general consensus doesn't
yet exist. They're also more expensive of course. But, they would do
well in places like the Caribbean, and they're very popular. They also
don't heel over, so that's a plus for kids, guests, frightened men..

I don't know what we'll do ultimately. The Val is beautiful and from
what we've found is very well made.. not cheap tho...
