News reports say the nukes were shut down and the diesel generators are now pumping cooling water through the plant. Hopefully, there was no damage, but it has been talked about as a possibility at Lake Anna for years. I'm sure there will be a full inspection before the reactors are restarted. Funny, Japanese pumps worded too but with cracked pools and pipes...pumping water just floods the area. It is just a mater of time before one in the USA does the same. -- We have the most expensive governments no one can afford. And wonder why the economy is doing so poorly? |
