First Lady Mrs. Gerald Ford age 93.

She payed her dues conquering alcohol and drug abuse, and set a center
for those rehabilitating those same afflictions.

She was a class act.

I agree. I liked her husband, too.

Yep, a capitalist millionaire. Like Warren Buffet, putting millions to
charity. Good people.

Good stock too, Susan Ford carries on in the good family ways.

Good Christian Republican too.

Time for another one. Maybe Susan should replace Obama.

Hey Krausie, I know you've stated you personally knew every president
since Truman ( or was it Hoover?). And I remember that you said you
had worked for some of 'em. Did you work for Ford?

I lived in Birmingham, Michigan, for some of the time Ford was in
Congress. He was on the other side of the state, but the "take" on him
was that he was a decent guy. And that was when liberals were really
liberal and most conservatives were responsible and not crazy as they
are now.

It was a kinder time. When the gubernational candidate I worked for won
his primary, he ran a big and successful fundraiser for his chief
opponent, so the fellow could retire his campaign debts.
