Sarah Palin On Paul Revere Ride: I Didn't Get History Wrong

WASHINGTON (AP/The Huffington Post) -- Sarah Palin says she didn't mess
up her history on Paul Revere.

The potential 2012 presidential candidate was in Boston on Thursday as
part of her bus tour when she was asked about the Revolutionary War hero.

Palin said Revere "warned the British that they weren't gonna be takin'
away our arms."

Palin, a paid Fox News contributor, told "Fox News Sunday" that she was
correct. She says there were British soldiers in the area for years
before Revere's legendary ride, and that he was warning them, as well as
his fellow colonists.

"Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there that
'hey, you're not going to take American arms, you are not going to beat
our own well-armed persons individual private militia that we have.'"

She blamed her previous answer on the media, saying it was a "gotcha
question."

The Paul Revere House's website says that on April 18, 1775, Dr. Joseph
Warren instructed Revere to ride to Lexington, Mass., to warn Samuel
Adams and John Hancock that British troops were marching to arrest them.

Palin has no shame...what an ignorant ass she is.

It scares the 'ell out of me that there are Americans who would vote
for her in a Presidential election.
I think Canada better beef up it's border security.

Funny stuff. Go clean up your yard. The Google cameras might be coming
soon.

Better watch it boy. Rumor has it that Obama plans to annex Canada.
The 7 major provinces will be renamed to states with the names of
Obama family members. The Maratimes will be cut loose and set adrift.
This will all happen immediately after the conclusion of our new war
with Yemen.

I can't believe they haven't tipped over into the ocean already!

You don't want Quebec. Too much of a headache.

Does that mean we get lower federal taxes and higher SS payments?

Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. Won't be annexed. The remaining
7 will be annexed as mentioned before.

Agreed. PEI isn't worth a state, neither are the rest of the east
coast. Just welfare and union griping. Sad actually.

What would be good is to take just western Canada. With lots of new
immigrant workers, and fewer dominionists a little separation grease and
bingo....

I for one am all for it. I gave up on corrupt Ottawa a long time ago.
Just treats the west as a tax colony for the fleecing.

Well, well!
It wasn't all that long ago when Alberta was only populated by steers
and queers.
Now the nouvelle-riche think they are hard put on when they are
finally paying their fair share.
When the oil runs out...you'll be asking us for a payday loan.

When the oil runs out, are we going to feed ourselves on Ottawa debt?

Fact is in 500 years when oil runs out we will still have cows and
wheat. And if we leave Ottawa behind, a lot less debt and colonialism.
