Yes, it is about boating because some of us have been boating on SF
bay in CA but I never knew SF dumped their sewage into the bay.

I thought these SF libs were s'posed to be so "green". They dump
their sewage into the bay, WTF? What a buncha hypocrites.

I think that the funny thing is that they have created a big problem by
trying to solve another problem and the solution, bleach, is going to
create an even bigger problem. The solution is to bring back the
"normal" toilets.

I had no idea high school grads who skipped college for the marines were
so well versed in environmental engineering.

You really are an idiot.

No, Bertie...I had the grades and SAT scores and smarts to go to
college. You went into the marines.

You really didn't go to college, you went to the Univ. of Kansas, it is
a trade school.

And, you've got some reality problems...

Sewage in Tallahassee is used on a spray field to grow hay to be used
to prevent erosion on construction sites. It actually generates
revenue for the city.
Sewage with bleach in it is still sewage, ewwww, CHUNKY.

I wonder which is worse on the little fishes, the sewage or the bleach.

In any case, the hypocrite part was apt....expecially when it comes to freedom
of speech - and sewage dumping, of course.

We dump our sewage in Huntingtown, MD. Don't know if you've ever heard of it.
It's a big waste disposal site for Virginia and Maryland.

:)

You're ever the asshole, hey, Herring? Can't you work in a racist remark
or two, too? Is Fairfax still dumping sewage into the Occuquan and then
into the Potomac?

Didn't you ever go to the Bar-J Chili Parlor next to the sewage
treatment plant in Lorton? You know, right next to the feed store. The
place had a wood pallet for a front step and the furniture was new in
about 1955.

It really went uptown after they won the national chili cookoff in 1983.
You couldn't go in sit at the bar watch the 1963 vintage TV and drink
beer.

Yup, great place to eat. It moved down to a strip mall in Woodbridge. Now it's
just another restaurant in a strip mall, and the food, for some reason, isn't
nearly as good. Of course, it's not as cheap either.

That Lorton plant sent all it's treated sewage to Maryland also, but way south
of where you live. Huntingtown is quite a ways from your neck of the woods.

It's a safe assumption. You come across here like a simply programmed

Uh no Harry, the "safe" assumption here is you are lying about your
history again, and again, and again, and again... What kind of boat was
it you "singlehanded" to Catalina Island with again? Was that before or
after the imagined college education?

"26 miles across the sea" It's easily doable, by not by Mr Fraidy Pants.

Once again, Mr. Bat**** Crazy, you are making a big deal out of
something that isn't, in single-handling to Catalina Island.
Apparently your knowledge of geography is as non-existent as the rest of
your knowledge.

Let's make it easy for you:

"Santa Catalina Island, often called Catalina Island, or just Catalina,
is a rocky island off the coast of the U.S. state of California. The
island is 22 miles (35 km) long and 8 miles (13 km) across at its
greatest width. The island is located about 22 miles (35 km)
south-southwest of Los Angeles, California."
from Wiki

Boaters have *rowed* to Catalina. Jetskiers do it all the time. I did it
in a small sailboat I rented for a couple of days while on a business
trip to LA.

Getting there might be an accomplishment for a moron like you, but it's
just not that big a deal.
