Default Boat push poles

I found this site selling push poles and it is local to me. Seems to
be a well thought gadget but I still have to get over my basic
cheapness before I pay $170 for basically a long stick.
http://www.skinnywaterproducts.com/
I've considered making my own by buying a piece of Al tubing from
"Metal Supermarkets" and making the Y end from two pieces of 3/4" ply
glued and glassed to make a 1.5" thick piece.
However, I think this guy at Skinnywater has done his thinking and
produced a good design, Even the cross section of the tubing is
optimized for stiffness. I kinda feel like I ought buy from him just
cuz I appreciate good design.

You have to assume that their product is well tested under a variety of
conditions.
What happens if your jury-rigged version breaks when you need it most.
Although $170.00 seems expensive, it might be the 'best buy'.

I was hoping he would go for the Scotty Ingerfool suggestion of buying a
staircase railing at Home Despot and fiberglassing it. :)

Why, so you could mention my name again Harry Krause?

http://offender.fdle.state.fl.us/off...personId=14243

Here's your Harry Krause. Ever wonder why his kids abandoned him???
Here is your answer...

Ever notice the D.O.B. on that fella, Scotty?
I'm just a bit older.

Is your name Scotty Ingerfool? Seems like you think it is.
Scotty Ingerfool...dumbest poster on rec.boats.

It's funny that he's accusing someone else of molestation...

Projecting, no doubt.

Care to elaborate on that? Are you as stupid as the spoofer who says
because someone has a good fun relationship with his daughter that he is
molesting her?

Loogy may have broken his daughter's arms and the other dumb asshole
here sleeps in a tent on the weekends with his underaged daughter. It's
not easy telling the two of them apart, since they work so hard to be
the reigning bottom feeders here, along with the rest of the ID
spoofers, one of whom is flajim.

I don't see any problem sharing a tent with your daughter. It's the
idea that he'd sleep in a tent with someone else's teenage daughter.

different. Think banjos.

Did this loogy guy really break his daughter's arms? Please elaborate,
I'd like to know how he did it, etc. I think you are saying that he
committed a felony, correct?
