I just move along to the next post as I am sure most of you all do here too ![]() Finally after a decade, and with the use of my filters, and the great work of the spoofers, Harry, Bonnie, and the rest of the pink army is pretty much irrelevant here at rec.boats... at least to me. Schweeeeet! snip It took you a decade to figure out how to filter??? ~~ Snerk ~~ Some internet provider! Speaking about irrelevant... since you don't boat, why are you here? Nope, just decided to use a reader instead of Google recently, it's really pretty simple to figure out if you try.. As to why I am here, I am a retired boat builder, and still have a great interest in boats. I still have a boat and plan on using it again when I am done with my childs ambitions... You don't boat, don't have a boat, why are you here?? Now wait just a freekin minute there. Don has one of Tom's cast off aluminium river and pond boats. Renee loved it! http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ithRyan048.jpg One nice thing about Lake Anna is that the calmness allowed us to just cut the engine and enjoy the water (the water temp was about 85F). http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ithRyan053.jpg Even Opa got into the act! http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ithRyan041.jpg Smiles like this say it all... http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ithRyan041.jpg This trip we found some islands with nice little beaches there on. Looking forward to taking other daughter out there on Monday. We're going to Solomon's Island, MD, for the weekend. Will try to get in a little fishing and playing. This will be my wife's first time towing a boat with her Highlander. We'll see how it goes. Have a super weekend!! Nice photos. Great jump shot! I guess you aren't *that* old if you can hit the shutter that quick! |

Hang on to that first tube you have... the upright ones are good for the younger kids, but the ones you lay on are more fun when they get older. *You use your feet to stabilize and "steer" while the driver whips you around. *It's a blast when the water is smooth, and the tube gets whipped out really fast. Have fun! Good idea, but I've already gotten rid of the other one. Damn things take up a lot of room! By the time the grandkids get old enough to enjoy that type of riding, they'll be wanting skis and wakeboards. We'll see! |

Schweeeeet! Later, gotta' go put the engine back in Jessi's bike and break it in for the weekend. We cracked a piston last week, ugh. On a good note I have really been working hard on suspension this year and I think I pretty much got it dialed in on my bike. I was cornering like a madman the last two days after some pro help with the clickers (suspension adjustment). Had a great moto with Jessi yesterday, she was holding back but we ran around for a few fast (for me, totally on the edge) laps with me on my 125 and she on her little 100cc pit bike ![]() I know Harry, slow, minibike, etc.... Tell that to the girls behind her while she was kicking off second and third places all season at Supercross, on her RMZ 250 ![]() third overall last season in the NEMA womens 125/250 series, and 11th in the Mens/Boys 125/250 series... Oh, and she ran both series on a two stroke 100 cc shorty ![]() This kid works so hard, so anyway, later guys... I know, slow, motorcycle, geetars, beer... Hummm, beer, I miss Loogie, gonna' have to check in with him... Sorry to hear about the piston. **** happens. I broke a ring on a Guzzi while in Germany. Had to replace head, piston, rings etc, etc. Pain in the ass. Did both sides, and it cost only about $500. Did the work myself, which saved a bundle. Guzzis are easy to work on - the older ones anyway. Great to hear Jessi's doing so well and having a great time. Keep up the good work. It definitely pays off. |
