Bush fired or "retired" many generals for speaking out. I think Obama should not fire him unless he believes that McCrystall can no longer do the job he was assigned to do. Obama's ego will cause McCrystal to be fired. Your ego needs to be self-inflated to compensate for your obvious lack of intelligence. |

Yep, there is only room for one big mouth in Obama's government. canuck forgets that the US is a civilian led democracy. he'd prefer an oligarchy run by the rich. so when a general mouths off, like mcarthur did, the pres fires him canuck is kinda stupid in most ways...being a conservative Some 20 years ago I had a boss like Obama. Always shooting his mouth off from day one. you were a 3 star general? who knew!! The moral, if you **** off someone below you, make sure you can afford to loose them or have them as enemies. and vice versa |

Obama hasn't figured out the enemy is like school yard bullies. gee he didn't have to figure it out. all he had to do is hire a general who DID know. and rely on that general to develop a plan..which mccrystal did. you are kinda stupid...even for a conservative You need to bloody their noses once and awhile to keep them smarter. Obama has taken the do no harm stand as he loves muslims. which is, i supposed, why he sent 40,000 more troops to afghanistan, tripled the number of predator drone attacks, etc... yes. your logic is, as usual...remarkable Well, it is getting them killed. Guess the generals are getting sick of DC head up their arse decisions. except, of course, mccrystal is the author of the current plan in afghanistan bag of rocks...that's how incredibly stupid you are. |

Yep, there is only room for one big mouth in Obama's government. Some 20 years ago I had a boss like Obama. Always shooting his mouth off from day one. Clearly showing pretty quickly he didn't know much. About 2-3 weeks in he called me, the senior person of the crew and told me to "Do as I tell you, not as you think.". I just got up, on the way out I said I would be gone in a month. I picked up the phone and I transfered out in 14 days. On the second week he tried to talk me into staying, saying who is going to keep this going. I just said, not my problem any more. He ws fired in 4 months. He tried the same BS on the only other one that knew jack crap about how things really worked and he too said enough was enough. The plant closed 8 months later. The moral, if you **** off someone below you, make sure you can afford to loose them or have them as enemies. -- The bigger government gets, the more it tends to rule out common sense. Moral of the story... you lost your job. I know you're bitter about it. Funny, I knew it was coming and cashed out. Then got another job. You, still unemployed to a point you are unemployable. How long does unemployment last? I know this will come as a shock to a low-level and soon to be laid off wage-earner like you, Canucki, but self-employed people are not "unemployed." Perhaps your buds on the right here believe the economical and political crap you spew, but those of us who are conscious and sentient get a whiff of your bull**** everytime you hit the "SEND" button. The other day you claimed you were interested in buying a McDonald's franchise. Bull****. You couldn't pay for a simple $5 lunch for a half dozen posters here. Hahaha, you are pathetic. -- The bigger government gets, the more it tends to rule out common sense. |
