JFK got the PT109 cut in two by doing a bad job of captaining the
boat. He did well after the sinking, but should not have had to do the
rescue. The Cuban missile crisis was caused by JFK. He installed
missiles in Turkey, pointed at the USSR. The Cuban missiles were
installed in response. He nearly caused WW3 or at least nuclear war.
He removed the missiles from Turkey as part of the settlement. Quit
looking at the popular press writings about the guy. I would have voted
for him as President, but was old enough to vote until 1964. So just
like Obama, who I voted for in the California primary. I would have had
voters remorse.
