Are you claiming some sort of intellectual superiority because you chose the cowards way out? You have mad a fool of yourself so many times over this issue. You'd think you'd learn to either avoid it or come up with a decent lie to cover yourself. You really are an ignorant asshole, aren't you? What flajim is telling us here is that after high school, he didn't even have the smarts necessary to get into college, maintain a 2.0 ("C") average, and hang onto a II-S student deferment for four or five years. A "champagne socialist" is a pejorative political term originating in the United Kingdom. The phrase is used to describe a Socialist self-proclaimed advocate of the poor or working classes, who claims to support a form of socialist ideology, but who might disregard socialist ideals in their daily life.
