Research published in BioMed Central's open access journal Population Health Metrics has found this disparity between the two countries, suggesting that America's lack of universal health care and lower levels of social and economic equality are to blame. Probably true but for the assumption it is health care. Fewer Canadians can afford drugs, weed, booze and smokes. any proof? what's the purchasing power parity of canada vs the US? it's a simple measure. what is it? Lower wages, higher gasoline costs and higher taxes make us walk more. again, where's the proof? the canadian dollar has appreciated 25% against the US dollar because your govt regulated the free market and ours didnt. |
