Default Auto-pilot parts from g10

I brought my old Autohelm 800 home because the nylon part that threads
into the push rod and then fits onto the tiller had broken off. I
discussed making a new part from g10 with my machinist and he said it
would work. I thought I'd come in nest week and do it but when I got
here today he had already made it.. This part will not break or wear
like the old nylon one.
Slowly, we may build up an list of special boating parts we can make
from g10. I am also thinking of having them make "deck organizers"
which are arrays of pulleys thru which sailboat lines pass to direct
them back to the cockpit. Another possibility is for less expensive
halyard locking devices (I forget the actual name) for these that
consist of a vertical cam that locks a line in place.
