Default Boat Cover Update

didn't even blink when I called, they knew... They ended up paying me
for the thickets, big deal, I had to drive out and scalp another pair.
Worked at a factory decades ago where the UPS guy used to sell hot ****
right out of the back of his big brown truck

I don't think I'd ever let them pack and ship anything valuable. I'd
pack it at home and not mention the contents.

If I'm mailing something, I use the post office. Hell, it's right
across the street, cheaper than UPS, and probably about as fast.
Usually speed isn't a concern.

My sister was a letter carrier for the USPS prior to going to college
and she always sends everything via USPS.

a bit of lagniappe.

Of course not, Brucie Krueger. Why would I waste the "best" I've got on a
septic tank like this? To see the best I've got, you'll have to go to "the
other places."

Well, the tickets were packaged there by a friend who got it for me a
week or so before the race. Remember, I worked for the company as a sub
contractor, so everybody knew we were getting tickets for the race, who
was getting them, and when they were being shipped. The thing that got
me really was the attitude the management had about such things. They
knew good well what happened, who did it, and just wrote out the check
to cover the cost and brushed it under the rug like every other time..

OK, OK, but they've done all right by me. So far.


Well, they usually do, John. And I've actually recieved good service
from them. But it seems like the old adage is true. "A good deed never
is noticed, but a bad deed is never forgotten"

Occasionally they'll put my stuff on the wrong truck, and instead of
the usual one day service ends up being two days. But that's rare,
that is unless I'm badly needing the parts I ordered!

Then it never fails to fail.
