We had a local fund raiser in Halifax, where all the radio stations, TV
stations and local politicians joined forces to help the unfortunate
Haitians. We had local bands playing great music, local restaurants
were passing out free samples, and the downtown area was swamped with
supporters. Halifax came out in force to support this great charity.
After 48 hours, we have raised almost $500 and if we follow up this
weekend with more music and food, it looks like we will hit our goal of
$1000. Not bad for a small Canadian Provence.
