lobster bisque

romaine lettuce salad with homemade blue cheese dressing, candied

beef wellington or salmon with cream sauce and capers

garlic mashed potatoes

fresh green beans

hoppin' john

fresh fruit compote

champagne

a nice selection of domestic and imported wines and beers

- - all food items homemade from scratch - -

But I suppose most of you dined with loogy or justhate, and had an
enjoyable meal of chicken ala popeyes, rice and beans (floating in
grease), twinkies, and Annie Green Springs wine or Miller Lite beer.

Happy New Year to those who deserve such.

Yeah, everybody here believes you........
snerk

What you and the rest of the brain-deads around here believe doesn't
matter to me or any other sentient being.

Actually not. * We had a nice dinner party on the boat for 6 of our
friends and neighbors while docked at Ft Myers Beach near the Coast
Guard station.. *We enjoyed a number of good wines and a variety of
gourmet foods. *Later we were treated to a spectacular fireworks show
on the beach just after midnight on a warm clear night. * Everyone
agreed that it just doesn't get much better.

Sounds like you have a wonderful evening, Wayne. The wife and I were
planning a simple evening at home but I ended getting a proverbial
last minute call to sub for a bass player in a local CW band who due
to some type of confusion over the date, couldn't' make it. I know
the band and these guys are easy to get along with. We got a generous
tip to play a couple more after shut down, pack and go home. We got
home at about 3:30 jsut in time for a hot shower and a snore.

The wife had a better time than she thought she would. Then again, I
got to play, and she got the pay.

it all worked out good.

anyhow it all went well, and we got a pretty good tip

Oh dude - I'm so sorry.

Let that be a lesson to you - never take SWMBO to a paying gig. :)

We were supposed to head out to Mrs. Wave's BFF's house for dinner
and a movie in their new fancy pants home theatre (plush recliner
theatre seats too - very cool), but I begged off because I was really
tired, we got in late and there was no way I was going to be able to
stay up past 2100. :)

Mrs. Wave had a good time though which was fine with me. I got a rain
check for tomorrow for the Pats game and another for the Super Bowl.

Good enough. :)
