Who should, achmed/Keith, Sarah Palin or Lynn Vincent, the woman who
actually wrote it?

Does 'doing something' have any bearing on who gets the award?

I really don't think so. It probably has more to do with who they want
to suck up to at the time.

It looks like about 2300 people lined up at the two book store. 1200
in fort Wayne and 1100 in Noblesville. In Noblesville they ran out
of books so 400 people were very disappointed. Per the article 2400
people had their pictures taken with Sarah Palin.

Ms P of course. After all, she was the inspiration for the masterpiece.

Yeah... she also got booed because she wouldn't honor her commitment to sign
the books.

Locally, Mark Calaway draws the same crowds and is also considered the
American Bad Ass (rogue). I'm sure a Palin/Calaway ticket would
absolutely close the malls down and create a government, the likes of
which, has never been seen before......

I don't think this is as much a mistake as it is just what all
TV/movie people do to fill the screen.
In a way it may be good that we are calling them on it but if you
think about it, you know they are rerunning the same old footage on
years worth of news stories.
How many times have we seen those same al queda training pictures?

It's one thing to use file footage, it's another to purposefully pull
footage from other events to pump up the story you're telling.

The last time they did this, the notice on screen was "earlier"
instead of the date or "file footage" which is the normal practice.

This is purposeful misrepresentation to sell a story. It's PR, not
news.

Yeah, it usually has the words "file footage" somewhere on the screen...

The training pictures are fake? There's a big difference. Hannity was caught
doing it, then a bit later, the organization did it again. Don't they learn
from their mistakes?
